Circle Terminology--The Basics


Circle: An infinite set of points that are the same distance from the center.


Basic Information:
-360 degrees
-Infinite set of points
-equidistant from the center
-You name a circle by the center point
--The dot in the middle can be represented as a variable, thus naming the circle.

Radius: Half a segment from a point in the middle of a circle*
--Half of a diameter of a circle
